It's Coming...

By the end of this month, Underworld Studios latest film will be released on Youtube. It has been a great experience, editing and tweaking the film. Its actually due within a few days and I still have some work left to do on it. For the Youtube release, it will be the extended Director's Cut, the way I intentionally wanted the film to be.

It's Going To Be Awesome!

Editing In High Gear

The upcoming film so far is going good in terms of editing. At the present moment, all the clips are going in the order the way the story is being told. After that, refining the edit to hit exactly four minutes since that's the limit. Only so far a few shots have been taken out that aren't necessarily needed, or just drag out the film's pace from reaching four minutes.
I may not make a director's cut since so far, I'm quite happy the way the film is looking. I'll see when it gets closer to hand in date which is April 12, and the film should be released on Youtube some time after that date.

Production Is Done

Production for Underworld Studios new film finished yesterday afternoon. It was amazing to finally shoot a movie with friends again, as the last one was Devils Hour and the last big film production was Omen.
This new film was shot over three different days and we filmed about a good hour to two hours worth of footage (this also includes alternate cuts, angles and bloopers) and it will be all edited down to a four minute film for a release in April.
There will also be a College Cut and a Director's Cut of the film, due to the restrictive time limit and some images I probably won't be able to show, there will be a longer Director's Cut of the film released sometime after the College Cut.
As far as the title, that won't be released for awhile. Though there might be a trailer sometime in March maybe.
Good Luck To Editing!

Filming Begins Again

Here we go. Finally a new production for Underworld Studios. It's been a long time since Devil's Hour and a hell of a long time since Omen. With this new film, I'm actually quite excited about it, and hope everything turn out well. Should be released sometime around April. Wish Me Luck!

UPDATES UPDATES UPDATES!!!

After a slow down in Underworld Studios during the summer, it is now on a rise with a sudden boost of film projects due to college. There will at least be three or four new short films to be released by December 16. So far production is going well and it's pretty crazy with all of the ideas flying around. Am getting a headache just thinking about them, though it makes me happy that new videos will be posted.

UNDERWORLD STUDIOS IS BACK!

After a very long hiatus Underworld Studios is back with Devils Hour. This is the first film since Omen that contains the Underworld Studios feel. The more I watch it, the more I like it. It's actually a really creepy piece of work.
Devils Hour was shot at the end of April 2011 at my college residence. I had the help of my friend Daniel and he came up with some very creepy ideas. I have to also thank my friend Chris for creating a very sick outro title for the film. And last but not least the weather, for creating that very creepy fog scene.
Now that I am back home from college, I feel that Underworld Studios can finally return as I definitely want to film a few projects during this summer.
Here's To A Great Summer!

Death Note Explodes In Japan

I haven't wrote anything on this blog in awhile, so I am going to write about this sudden explosion of our Death Note video. It was uploaded almost two years ago and the other day it suddenly exploded in Japan bringing almost 2,700 views in one day. This seems like nothing compared to big Youtube channels, but at 2,700 views in one day, it's Underworld Studios most ever.
Death Note Part 1 is obviously the one with the most views, while the other two parts are way far behind. In the next few days Part 1 is going to hit 100,000 views, which is quite cool.

Aside from that, hopefully new videos will be on their way. I got some great ideas lurking in my head up there. Though Death Note is long gone from my mind and over with, I might return to it in the future. I don't know, since it's my best success on Youtube, might as well do a continuation or just a random Death Note video with a different storyline, but just takes place in the Death Note world. We'll see.

Underworld Studios Future Unknown

If your really to look at it, the future of Underworld Studios is really unknown. With the entire series of Omen finally posted on Youtube, the big question is, What Now? And to answer that question truthfully is I don't know. With July almost being over, I highly doubt anything big happening and I don't have the motivation at this moment to take on anything big. Though I do have ideas floating around in my mind, I don't see them as important enough to go and pursue them, due to me believing it's not worth the hassle because it's not as grand of an idea as Omen was. Omen, in my mind was epic and was a lot of my imagination with my storytelling in it. So yea, I doubt to see any new big projects along the way.
What to expect is some filler videos to fill up my channel during the summer. Would be small skits, and just day to day stuff and whatever. The usual summer stuff.
What's really sad is that, the future is completely unknown as everyone in Underworld Studios are going separate ways after the Summer holidays, either to University, College or taking another year of highschool, it shows that Underworld Studios from now on could quite possibly be shutting down. The channel will obviously stay up, but as for videos being posted, would be something weekly, to something rare which sucks. Well I'll see what happens.

To The Future Of Underworld Studios, Hopefully It Will Work Out.

OMEN IS FINALLY FINISHED!

Started in late January and finally finished in late June, Omen is now completed. It has been an extreme amount of work to get this one off the ground. There were so many filming days, complications, head aches from writing the script cause the whole series can be confusing. Since it is hectic, but by the end it all wraps up.
I am extremely proud of this film series, would like to thank all the cast and crew for making this series work and become reality from my insane imaginative mind.
Interesting little fact, the entire series run on a estimated run time of 1 hour and 20 minutes. That is almost like a full fledged film, if it was edited as a film, but its in episodic format, lol.

Total DVD Runtime with Credits 1 hour and 39 minutes.

OMEN UNDERWORLD STUDIOS FINEST ACHIEVEMENT !
